In the mood for 14 lines about something important? If you glance over the notes to this spoken word track, you’ll see that I have a friend who’s never read this Shelley sonnet, Lift Not the Painted Veil.  Myself, I adore being read to, and so I thought I’d record it quickly for him to enjoy. It is my opinion that all artists should know this particular work and, in knowing it, will feel a little less alone in being a bright blot upon this gloomy scene.
